SMD Bridges VBL 1404.5
Disturbance-immune and low-radiation two-layer circuit boards
The layout design is primarily decisive for a module's disturbance emission and disturbance immunity characteristics. The basic concept of the new, low-cost procedure is to expand the GND system of the two-layer layout by a "third layer" in between which consists of SMD components. Fractured ground systems are connected via the SMD bridge to form a sturdy unit. The SMD component is used as an additional conductor level to interlock the GND system and to screen conducting tracks.
The electromagnetic effect approximates the favorable characteristics of a solid GND plane. Conducting tracks and/or bus systems can be screened locally. These measures are only necessary in those layout locations where disturbing interferences occur.
We have the know-how to design disturbance-immune and low-radiation two-layer circuit boards. We provide advice, design circuits boards for you and hold seminars about the layout of disturbance-immune modules.
