P23 MINI E-Field Generator
Pinpoint injection of interference pulses with P23
The generator's interference pulse voltage is capacitively coupled into the high-impedance digital IC inputs such as reset, clock or quartz pins or into the signal line of an electronic PCB. A susceptible structure / signal needing protection has been located if the fault identified in the previous device test can be reproduced.
The P23 E-pulse generator generates a maximum generator voltage of 1.2 kV. How high this voltage actually is at the pin under test essentially depends on the direct test environment.
The individual voltage pulse with a rising edge of 1.8 ns is internally coupled to the generator needle tip via 10 pF. The polarity, individual pulse and 5 kHz pulse sequence as well as the pulse voltage can be switched over separately.
